colin david potter sadly passed away on january the 18th 2006 at the derbyshire royal infirmary, aged 40 years. colin left behind his loving wife sue and his two sons iain and bradley, also his parents and siblings and his grandchildren, all of whom miss him greatly.
colin died after a short battle with an aggressive cancer and everyone who knew him misses him dearly as he was a great man who got on with everyone and he didn't deserve to have his life taken from him so suddenly and at such a young age.
anyone who knew colin would say he was a brilliant person, a devoted father, husband and son, and if anyone ever needed him a family member, a friend or a colleague-he would always be there.

there is a saying that once a person has done enough good in this life, they move onto greater things, i believe that colin had simply done so much good in his life that he deserved better things. and although he has been prematurely taken from all who loved him, the impression he left on everyone in his too short life will last a lifetime.

Colin was someone special

This man was a loving relative but he had 4 kids... the others shouldnt be forgotten because even tho they had fights with colin and he second family, they were his children too... Colin was a beloved father to four beautiful kids... Victoria... Dale ... Iain and Bradley and he would of wanted something to have changed when he died because he wouldnt have liked his youngest son not to know his older brother and sister... and Bradley shouldnt also be kept from his 4 nephews either... All my love Colin... I know your watching over all of our family x

so sorry for your tragic loss

Colin sounded like a wonderful husband, dad and grandad - people like Colin leave behind so much love and kindness - not to mention wonderful memories. Whilst your pain will never really go away - you will start to laugh at things he would have laughed at and care about the things he would have cared about - its a long slow process. He is safe and loved in heaven now - until you meet again... God Bless you

a letter from heaven

a letter from heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...

but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above

Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight

Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,

God picked me up and hugged me and He said,
